I am not adjusting well at Tumblr.com

Love how the reblog button on posts will just break randomly while you're a thousand feet deep in your feed meaning that if you refresh to fix it you have to start back at the top. No thank you. D:

It's hard not to compare other sites to Cohost, which I will eternally laud it's four devs for making the decisions to: purposefully refuse to EVER make a mobile app(but still doing their best to optimize the site for phones) so that adult and queer content stays open and protected there, helping to build an extremely inclusive community where I have never once run into a troll or a douchebag, committed to never selling the site to VC vultures even if the site is going to die (so that everyone's data at least stays safe and doesn't just get sold to the highest bidder by the new owner, and I could go on...

#it's really hard to not compare other social media to the social media equivalent of paradise #Blusky has a user base that's only a little over TWICE the size of Cohost's and it looks like it has an equivalent amount of trolls to Twit #This is the bullshit I will never be off of because a communal meeting space that's safe and fun is SO important to me #I met literally ALL of my online friends on Twit and even before the fall it was only worth being there because of them #But that's also why it was SO worth being there #Community is everything to me... but it's so refreshing when there's a place that puts the user and user experience above maximized profit #CH still needs a lot of quality of life and accessibility options added so it's not perfect YET #But it being run by a cadre of queers shed off by the tech sector makes it an AMAZING start #Sorry... like I said this will be the bullshit I'm never off of XD
